Book Released on Project Management Lessons Learned from the Roman Empire

Best-selling author Jerry Manas (author of Napoleon on Project Management) has contributed a newly-released book to the popular Lessons from History series.

Oshawa, Ontario (MMPUBS.COM)   9 September 2009 -- The best-selling Lessons from History series of books is expanding with the addition of a new book by best-selling author Jerry Manas.  The new book, titled "Project Lessons from the Roman Empire: An Ancient Guide to Modern Project Management" details how the Romans practiced project management in their major public works construction projects (aquaducts, public baths, sports stadiums, bridges, among others) and how they practiced leadership and overall governance.  The book also looks at some aspects of Roman culture that helped contribute to their success.  Each of the lessons captured from the Roman times is reapplied to modern project management situations, with guidance on how they can help in specific project situations.

The Lessons from History series is a very successful series of books, ebooks, audiobooks, and DVDs analyzing historical events and projects using modern business analysis techniques and extracting lessons learned for business leaders today.  This new book, "Project Lessons from the Roman Empire" is the first book in the series by an author other than the series originator, Mark Kozak-Holland.   Additional books are in development by a number of other authors.
